Exposing Acne Myths
If you are suffering from Acne, you already know that there is a
lot of misinformation floating around. Here are some common
myths that can actually make your acne worse.
Myth1 Scrub your face clean Never scrub your face if you have
acne. You will actually irritate your face more and can cause
scarring. Gently wash your face only twice a day and not every
ten minutes. Baby your face, and your face will clear up faster.
Myth 2 Chocolate causes acne Recent studies suggest that
chocolate or other foods do not cause acne. You should however

Myth 3 Tanning will help your acne Actually over-exposure to the
sun can hurt your acne. Yes, the color covers up the acne
temporarily, but many acne products that you use are sensitive
to the sun and can harm and damage your skin if you receive to
much sun.
